This drive was produced by SuperMax in answer to many customers wanting a wider belt drive basically for looks. This unit is an over-kill to say the least. The standard SuperMax 1 1/4" belt is more than sufficient for even Big Twin motors. This drive weighs in at a mere 7 pounds and is very quiet in operation. These drives do NOT fit inside a primary cover and must be fitted with a guard for safety reasons. If something such as a finger should get too close it is a certainty that you will indeed draw back a "STUB".

These drives include all of the parts as shown which include, a super light clutch shell, a 2 1/4" wide 14mm polychain belt, a splined or tapered shaft engine pulley, a engine pulley flange which is secured by 5 stainless steel 10x24 screws, a dome cover,to keep from grabbing your pants leg, as well as looking great, which is secured by 6 10x24 stainless buttonhead screws and a motor nut and motornut cover (chrome) for all splined shaft installations (No motor nut for tapered shaft kits).

The total weight of this unit is a mere 7 pounds. All of the drive dogs have 3140 steel surfaces for the clutch to drive on and the bearing surface is hardened to a 60 rockwell and precision ground for a prefect fit. These drives will take anything you can give them - short of outside interference. They are not designed to be fallen upon or ran over by a truck. Your motorcycles performace will definitly be upgraded with one of these units.

Well, this is exactly what our new PREDATOR DRIVE does. It is our widest primary unit with a heavy duty 2 1/4" wide 14mm GATES "Poly-Chain" © belt. It makes all other belt drive units look like they came from a tinker toy set. The performance of this unit is heavy duty and it will out run and out last any competitors unit. It will satisfy the most discriminating Harley rider.

The Predator kit includes: 14mm, 45 tooth, poly clutch basket with hardened steel bearing surface and 4130 steel drive dogs. 14mm, 30 tooth, engine pulley with a chrome polished, or plain finished engine pulley flange and motor nut cover (splined shaft only – no motor nut with tapered shaft). 14mm, 85 tooth, 2 1/4" wide Gates "Poly-Chain" © belt. The DOME COVER is available if desired in: chrome, polished, or plain spun finish (paint to suit) Polished stainless button head Allen screws on DOME COVER and stainless Allen flat heads on the engine pulley flange.

CAUTION: Utilize a guard on all open primary belt drives. These belt drives take no prisoners!
